چکیده
Moringa stenopetala (Baker f.) Cufod., is an endemic species growing in the south of Ethiopia. M. often consumed as food and used traditional medicine it has also been traditionally for relieving pain This study aimed to investigate antinociceptive effect mechanisms action leaves methanol extract mice. The per-oral doses 50, 100, 200 mg/kg were tested by using hot-plate, tail-immersion, writhing tests. possible investigated pre-treatment with 5 naloxone (non-selective opioid antagonist), 1 ketanserin (5-HT2A/2C receptor yohimbine (α2 adrenoceptor antagonist). showed all significant involvement 5-HT2A/2C receptors α2 adrenoceptors antinociception induced hot-plate tail-immersion tests, well contribution test, identified. In conclusion, these findings demonstrate that potential management. Thisstudywillcontributetonewtherapeuticapproachesandprovideguidancefornewdrug development studies.

متن کاملSpinal gabapentin and antinociception: mechanisms of action.
Spinal gabapentin has been known to show the antinociceptive effect. Although several assumptions have been suggested, mechanisms of action of gabapentin have not been clearly established. The present study was undertaken to examine the action mechanisms of gabapentin at the spinal level. Male SD rats were prepared for intrathecal catheterization. The effect of gabapentin was assessed in the fo...
